Medical examinations should be conducted before the immigrant visa interview. Green Crescent Health Services and Dr. Lina Shahnaz Parveen Hoq is lawfully authorized by the UK embassy, Dhaka, Bangladesh, and the immigration and naturalization service of the UK to conduct health screening for students, immigrants, and nonimmigrant Bangladesh citizens seeking UK visas.

  1. Original passport along with color photocopy of passport.
  2. Recent PP size photos with white background (2 copies).
  3. Any past TB related medical documents and chest X-Ray.
  4. Please bring your local address & your petitioner’s UK address, telephone number and email address.
  5. Medical Examination fees:
    - 11 years and above - BDT 5500/-
    - Below 11 years - BDT 3500/-
    - Further Investigation: BDT 14000/-
  6. What to expect at IME:
    a. Discussion of medical records/ prescriptions/ medical history with delegated staff/ PP.
    b. Full physical examination requiring undressing to underwear but clinic gowns & chaperones will be provided.
  7. Advice:

    a. Please bring glasses/ lenses and any prescription/ previous medical records.
    b. Women are advised not to wear any jewelry.
    c. No need to come on an empty stomach.
    d. The whole procedure may take 30-45 minutes.
    e. Please bring chest X-ray films (if available).
    Please do not come to the clinic if you have fever or conjunctivitis.

  8. You can visit our clinic from Saturday to Thursday, except government holidays from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM.
  9. All e-Medical reports will be submitted by the panel physician to the concerned health departments after the completion of all required tests.
  10. Non-e-medical applicants will receive a hard copy of the report.

All applicants are requested not to bring any large bags or wear unnecessary jewelry on the day of medical examination. Any accompanying person with the applicant may not be allowed in the medical center. Please do not bring along with you any other person as an attendant or escort. Only those applicants requiring special assistance are allowed one attendant to accompany them in the medical center. If you require special assistance please inform the medical center before coming for medical examination.


* All e-Medical reports will be submitted by the panel physician to the concerned health departments after completion of all required tests.

* Non-e-medical applicants, will receive a hard copy of the report.

  1. Any intentional attempt to hide medical or physical condition shall be informed to the embassy.
  2. If you are pregnant, please inform the staff at the registration desk.
  3. Complete physical examination is required by Health authority of concern country and whole body shall be examined. Please take in account hygiene and cleanliness.
  4. If you or your child has high grade fever or is severely ill please re-schedule your appointment and only come for the medical examination when you or your child has recovered completely.
  5. Please bring your vision glasses or contact lenses at the time of medical examination. Please also bring your previous prescriptions of medications or surgical notes if any.
